Bãi Trường

Long Beach — Bãi Trường — is the island's main strip, a 20-kilometre run of west-facing sand where most of the resorts, bars and sunset crowds are. The central section is developed and busy, with loungers, restaurants and water sports; head north or south and it thins out fast. The water is calm and the sunsets are reliably good, which is the whole draw. Free to use, though beach clubs charge for loungers. Easy to reach from Dương Đông, so it's the default beach for most visitors. Pick your spot by how much buzz — or quiet — you're after.
