Phu Quoc Beach

A central, easy-to-reach stretch of Long Beach right off Trần Hưng Đạo in Dương Đông, handy if you're staying in town and just want sand and a swim without a trip. The water's calm and west-facing, so the sunsets are the reliable draw, and there are bars and restaurants back off the beach for a drink or a meal. Being central, it's busier and a bit more built-up than the quieter beaches north and south. Free to use. Come late afternoon for a swim and a sundowner, and wander a little way along if you want more room.
