A hilltop temple and viewpoint reached by a stiff climb, and a favourite with locals for sunrise. The steps wind up through forest to shrines near the summit, where you get a wide view over the coast and countryside — best in the early light before cloud and heat build. It's a genuine bit of exercise, so bring water and take it steady. Free, quiet and a world away from the theme parks. Go early both for the view and the cooler air, dress respectfully for the shrines, and take your time coming back down.
