Chợ Cầu Sấu

A local wet market away from the tourist strip, where island cooks and homestays actually shop. Early morning is the time to come: fresh fish and seafood off the boats, tropical fruit, herbs, dried squid and fish sauce sold by the litre. It's working, not pretty — expect wet floors, smells and no English — but that's the point if you want to see everyday Phú Quốc. Free to wander. Bring small cash, go before the heat, and be ready to point and smile. A short, honest stop rather than a big attraction.
