A Chinese temple to Guan Di, the deified general worshipped for loyalty and protection, in the Cửa Lấp area south of Dương Đông. It's a small, colourful place of worship for the island's Chinese community — red and gold, heavy with incense, statues and offerings — and a quiet, genuine stop rather than a tourist sight. Free to look in respectfully. Dress modestly, keep it low-key if a service is on, and take a moment with the details of the carvings and altars. Easy to fold in if you're heading south, but a short visit rather than a destination on its own.
