Quốc Mẫu Hall

A hall within the Trúc Lâm Hộ Quốc monastery on the east coast, dedicated to the national mother-goddess and one of the quieter, more contemplative corners of the complex. It shares the monastery's standout setting — hillside, forest behind, sea in front — and its carved woodwork and calm are worth the few extra minutes off the main courtyard. It's free, part of visiting Hộ Quốc, so see it as one stop on a wander round the monastery rather than a separate trip. Dress modestly, keep it respectful, and take in the sea views from the terraces while you're up here.
