Vinpearl Safari Phú Quốc

Vietnam's first open-zoo safari, spread across 380 hectares of forest at Bãi Dài in the north of the island. You ride a caged tram through the open range where giraffes, zebras, rhinos and lions wander close to the glass, then walk the zoo section past tigers, orangutans, flamingos and a walk-through primate enclosure. Around 3,000 animals across 150-odd species. The feeding sessions and the flamingo lake are the standouts. Budget half a day and go early — it gets hot, and the animals are livelier in the morning.
